INITIATIVE

Revitalizing Malaysia's townscapes, one community at a time.

BREAKING THE CYCLE OF URBAN NEGLECT

The rapid pace of urbanization in Malaysia has resulted in a growing number of sprawling and poorly planned townscapes, characterized by inadequate infrastructure, environmental degradation, traffic congestion, and a lack of affordable and high-quality housing. These challenges pose a significant threat to the quality of life in urban areas and call for urgent action to improve the design and livability of Malaysian townscapes

EMPOWERING URBAN TRANSFORMATION

The core mission of the MyTownscape Initiative is based on the belief that everyone has the power to shape the places where they live, work, and play, and we strive to empower individuals, communities, and organizations to take an active role in improving the design and livability of Malaysian townscapes. Through education, outreach, and collaboration, we aim to empower urban transformation and create more vibrant, functional, and sustainable urban environments for all.

DESIGNING FOR A BRIGHTER FUTURE

The focus of MyTownscape Initiative is creating positive change through design.

We believe that by designing townscapes with a holistic approach, taking into account the needs of both people and the environment, we can create a better future for urban communities in Malaysia. Our goal is to work with local communities, designers, and policymakers to design townscapes that not only look great, but also function well, provide economic opportunities, and enhance the quality of life for all residents.
