Rohayah Che Amat

Dr Rohayah Che Amat teaches urban design to Master of Science in Sustainable Urban Design students at Razak Faculty of. Technology and Informatics, Universiti Teknologi Malaysia Kuala Lumpur. She has over thirteen years of experience in landscape architecture and management for private, commercial, institutional, structure plans, and local plans in Malaysia and abroad. She also supervised Ph.D. candidates and published research on historic urban, urban studies, heritage conservation, and landscape architecture. She is also the Honorary Secretary for the Malaysian Urban Design Association 2023-2025, a member of ICOMOS (International & Malaysia), the Chairman of ISCCL ICOMOS Malaysia, and the team leader for UNICITI Volunteer of Change, Third Way Building Asian Cities (2020-2022) founded by Olga Chepelianskaia.
